5 Exciting Reasons Any Thrill-Seeker and Lover of Adventure Should Visit Pampanga!

But, the question is “Where should I go?” Well, the province of Pampanga has numerous adventure sites for you to explore and it’s just a few hours away from Metro Manila! In fact, just within Alviera in Porac, Pampanga, you can find camping sites, an off-road track, and a country club. To help you build that itinerary, here are some of the many fun activities you can enjoy in Alviera!

Feel the wind in your hair with the Tallest Giant Swing!

SandBox has made quite a reputation as a place to go when you want to participate in some thrilling activities! You can ride the country’s tallest giant swing, strut on the aerial walkway, scale rock climbing walls, and do kart road racing. You and your thrill-seeking buddies are sure to get their fill of adventure with all SandBox has to offer.

You can also ride the roller coaster zip line in the near future once it’s launched! It will be a first in the Philippines because it upgrades the experience of a regular, straight-path zipline by including heart-pumping curves and drops!

Take on water-oriented obstacle courses

ICYDK, SandBox has ventured into water-oriented activities as well, and they sit in an area called Splash Tub. Splash Tub features 11 water-oriented obstacle courses at present, and they make for some of the most ideal locations to cool off especially when it’s terribly hot outside! Pack some swimming clothes, enjoy the obstacles, and lounge in the pools on the side! 

Bike down a pretty scenic trail

If you can, take your bike with you when you go to Pampanga so you can get the chance to experience the Alviera Bike Trails, a 5-kilometer stretch of land that is a mix of smooth and rough paths. You have to share some roads with motorized vehicles, so be sure to mind where you’re riding. The bike trail is completely free, but make sure to sign up and fill up forms first.

Learn sports motorcycling

Ever wanted to take motorcycling to the next level? There’s an off-road track within Alviera, spanning 3 hectares of exclusive use, managed by the Ayala-owned motorcycle brand KTM. It’s actually a sports motorcycling school, so go for it if you can make the commitment—and enjoy learning and chasing the high with the guidance of professionals.

Camp out and dip in the streams

On top of bike trails and off-road tracks, Alviera has a campsite, too. Dubbed the W Camp, this is where you can unwind and even enjoy the nearby streams. It is specifically molded for car campers, but if you’re in the mood for regular camping with a tent or glamping, that’s completely fine as well!

What makes this campsite exciting is that they’re offering themed camp packages as well. You can add cookouts to make for the overall experience of camping even more authentic! Look out for the W Camp Family Activity on April 30! 

To wind down and relax after all the excitement, you can have a picnic at Greenscapes, a vast greenery where a blooms field, a vetiver farm, a crop farm, an ornamental plant nursery, and a tree farm also sit. Play areas for kids are in the works too, so it’s definitely a fun destination for the whole family. 

You can also have a relaxing stay at the Alviera Country Club. It’s a sprawl of fresh, green space, where you have many ways to relax. Hang out at the lounge at the sports pavilion, chill by the garden area, show some moves at the dance studio, or treat yourself completely at the Inawa Spa. You can also dine at its specialty restaurant or at the Sabyan Cafe, and even top off the night at the sports bar afterward.

There’s just so much you can do in Pampanga, and Alviera’s “EXPLORAC PAMPANGA” should be first on your list.
